Axle Details
The GM 9.25" IFS axle is the big brother to the GM 8.25" IFS axle and is found under all 3/4 ton GM trucks and SUVs with independent front suspensions. They have an aluminum clam-shell style carrier that houses an extra large 9.25" diameter ring gear that accepts 33 spline CV axle shafts.
