Most aftermarket gears are a hybrid design to fit both 03-06 and 07-13 axles and differentials.
For 2014 and newer axles, the OEM gears can be used on an aftermarket differential if paired with a Ring Gear Spacer.
Axle Details
The AAM 9.25" front axle, also sometimes listed as the Chrysler 9.25" front axle is commonly found in modern Dodge trucks and features 9.25" reverse rotation ring gears and 33 spline axle shafts. A 9.25" rear axle is also available, however, that version uses 31 spline axles shafts and standard rotation gears so the internal components are not compatible.
