Axle Details
The GM 11.5" axle, also known as the AAM 11.5" axle was introduced as an upgrade to the GM 10.5" 14 Bolt axle in many Chevy, GMC, and Dodge / RAM full size trucks. It features a larger 11.5" ring gear and 30 spline full-floating axle shafts and is only available in standard rotation (rear) solid axle applications.

*Note: While the center section is the same between all GM, AAM, and Chrysler 11.5" axle models, the axle tubes and hubs are different so axle shafts, hub bearings, and brake components are not interchangeable.

*Note: Some components may also fit 2013.5+ Chrysler 11.8" (300mm) axles with 12 bolt ring gears on high output (HO) Ram 3500HD trucks with the 6.7L diesel and Aisin automatic transmission.
